8-21-24   THOUGHTS

God’s WAY is the right way!  God’s way or ways, will ENLARGE our hearts.  Always, may our hearts be inclined to God’s testimonies!  From the psalmist to the writer of Hebrews, our attention is directed to a “Living Way” that puts us into God’s presence!  “Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith...”

Ps 119:30-37    I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your ordinances before me.  31  I cling to Your testimonies; O LORD, do not put me to shame! 32  I shall run the way of Your commandments,  For You will enlarge my heart. 33  Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, And I shall observe it to the end.  34  Give me understanding, that I may observe Your law And keep it with all my heart.35  Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.  36  Incline my heart to Your testimonies And not to dishonest gain.  37  Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity, And revive me in Your ways.
Heb 10:19-22a       “Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,  20  by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21  and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22  let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith...”

My Prayer:

It is to You, O God, that we lift up our hearts in praise and thanksgiving.  We thank You for the words we read this morning.  Please enlarge our hearts from your Spirit words.  Turn away our eyes from vanity, and revive us in Your ways.  Help us to live focused, Christ-Centered lives as we draw near to your presence.  Please, help us abide in You.      In the name of Jesus,   Amen.
